Project
Champion
Empowering children in government schools through movement, play, and physical literacy.
From 2,800 children to a citywide movement
What began in 2023 with just 2,800 children has grown into a vibrant movement across 10 government schools, reaching over 5,900 young hearts. Project Champion envisions a society where every child moves freely, learns joyfully, and grows stronger — in body and in spirit.
In many government schools in Hyderabad, Telangana, children lack structured physical education classes to move and play. This absence often leads to poor physical health, low confidence, and reduced classroom participation.
Project Champion bridges this gap through a carefully designed physical literacy curriculum that introduces fun, play-based learning — where running, jumping, and teamwork become lessons in confidence, coordination, and life skills.
“Each session brings laughter, energy, and discovery. Teachers witness improved attendance, while children gain a newfound love for movement that goes beyond the playground.”
