About Run For Rocks
The Society to Save Rocks is dedicated to creating awareness among citizens and government authorities about the ecological, environmental, and geological significance of the spectacular ancient granite rock formations found in and around Hyderabad and across the Deccan Plateau.

ā ļø Important Information
* Registration is limited and applicable only for participants who wish to receive the goodies by the Society to Save Rocks.
* For the regular Sunday Long Run, no registration is required. Runners are welcome to join directly at the start point, Forestrek Park, NarsingiāTSPA Service Road, Hyderabad.
* Registered participants are requested to collect their goodies on the event day between 5:00 AM and 5:30 AM at Forestrek Park.
* Please arrive early to complete the collection process and be ready for the run start.
Run For Rocks is one of the Society’s flagship awareness initiatives, organized in association with Hyderabad Runners. Other activities undertaken by the Society include lectures, film screenings, monthly Rock Walks, and publication of books related to rock conservation.
Special ROCK WALK
After the run and refreshments, participants and visitors are invited to join guided Rock Walks through the scenic rocky landscapes surrounding Forestrek Park. These short excursions will be led by experts from the Society to Save Rocks, offering insights into the history, geology, and importance of preserving these unique natural formations.
